Henry County, GA — Excelsior Village Academies (EVA), an established, tuition-free public charter school grounded in classical education, is proud to announce that the State Charter School Commissioners has officially approved Excelsior Village Academies to welcome scholars from Rockdale County beginning next school year of 2026-27.
This expansion marks an exciting milestone for the school as they continue the mission to provide a nurturing, academically rigorous, family-centered K–8 learning experience for South Metro Atlanta. Excelsior Village Academies first opened its doors on August 5, 2024, welcoming K–3 scholars from Henry, Fulton, DeKalb, and Clayton counties, as well as Atlanta Public Schools. Since then, their growth has continued with the addition of grades 4, 5, and 6; further strengthening their commitment to serving families with excellence.
Families in Rockdale County can prepare to enroll their K-7 grade scholars by getting ready to attend a virtual information session and schedule a visit to experience EVA’s warm, affirming, academically rich environment.
